Today was hectic but good. It started out with writing an offer on the house I showed yesterday. The listing agent was with my company as well and was very helpful. She had a counter offer to me within a few hours. My buyer is thinking over the counter offer tonight.

After I finished up writing that offer I had several prospects that I needed to help buy a home so I spent a long time researching home possibilities and mailing/calling people back. I set up several people on my new client connect site which will automatically keep them updated if a house that meets their criteria comes on the market.

One of my prospects asked me about a property that had just expired so I decided I would see if the owners might be interested in listing their home with me. With my knowledge of cutting edge online marketing techniques, I was confident that I could do a better job than their previous agent. I didn’t know the owners contact information but after some quick googling I was able to find them on Facebook and send them a message. They haven’t responded yet but I’m hoping I might be able help them sell their home as their sellers agent. Near the end of the day I followed up with my clients in Marshall, making sure all was well as their option period is expiring next week.

Finally it was getting close to 5 so I was about to pack up and go home when one of my co-workers clients came in wanting to see a house. She was out of town so I showed her client the house. He loved it so we submitted a bid on the property!

Two offers in one day…that’s definitely a first. Now I’m looking forward to my open house at 11 Friendswood drive on Sunday from 2-4. Come on by and check it out! My job as a Longview real estate agent is finally beginning to feel like a job…but it is fun and exciting. I love showing houses and being able to help people get the right home!
